Session 6 – Tissues and organs ageing

6th European Congress of Biogerontology, 3rd annual meeting of Link-Age and 2nd Topic Research Groups meetings

In 2008, we had the great opportunity to organise the 2008 Link-Age annual meeting jointly with the 6th European Congress of Biogerontology (http://www.biogerontology2008.org).

This Congress was held in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands, from November 30 to December 3rd 2008.

° LINK-AGE  offered around 20 fellowships to students and post-doc covering the Congress fees (750 €). These fees included: 3 hotel nights in NH Conference center, welcome reception, coffee break, 3 lunch breaks, 3 dinners, admission to all scientific sessions, all congress materials and administration costs).

° With the aim to give associate and full members the opportunity to meet and communicate, we also organised the Topic Research Groups meetings A and B as well as the Topic Research Group on interspecies comparison at the same location.

The Research Topic Group A/ Interspecies comparison was held just before the Congress, from 29/11 14h to 30/11 17h

The Research Topic Group B was held right after the Congress, from 03/12 14h to 04/12 13h

These two meetings were also opened to a few numbers of non-members of LINK-AGE working in Europe.
