LINK-AGE : coordination and consolidation of European biogerontology: en route towards formation of a European college of biogerontology

Call to new associate members

° Development of common research strategies:

LINK-AGE is establishing a number of Topic Sub-Groups to develop common research strategies. Proposals for the formation of individual Topic Sub-Groups is currently made either by the LINK-AGE Scientific Council or in response to proposals from members.

Each Topic Sub-Group will be established with specific terms of reference to include development of common research goals and strategies. Funding will be provided for workshops of Topic Sub-Groups, which may include relevant non-members and industry representatives. Each Topic Sub-Group will be expected to report its progress via the LINK-AGE web resource and at the LINK-AGE annual conference, in order to encourage convergence of common research strategies spanning more than one topic

° Call to new associate members:

Laboratories already involved in or willing to develop research activities in molecular ageing are welcomed to apply for associate membership. Applications from young research teams and / or from new EU member states are particularly encouraged.

The associate membership category has now reached a maximum number of researchers that link-age will be able to support. The call is closed.
